A great job to have with the right staffing and enthusiasm!!!
Leasing Professional / Senior Community Assistant (Current Employee) – Tallahassee, FL – April 27, 2016
A typical day at work would consist of leasing inquiries (online, phone calls, and walk-ins), contracting operations, logging of package deliveries via USPS, providing information to prospects/ residents about property offers, specials, and/or upcoming events, conducting follow-up contacts, walking apartment units for move-in, and completing in-office tasks given by management.
By obtaining a position as a leasing professional, I've learned how to generate lease documents, intervene on roommate issues, multitask at maximum effort, provide assistance for smaller work orders in which maintenance is unavailable, plan and host community events, complete market surveys, train incoming staff members, execute sale goals and beyond required by management.
Management needs heavy improvement with communicating and following through with property repairs/expectations.
My coworkers are all enjoyable to work with and look for further opportunities to enhance their skills.
The hardest part of the job is when management overlook your capabilities and make you feel underappreciated.
The most enjoyable part of my job is meeting residents, their families, and making a positive influence in their lives while they matriculate through college.
