This is another co that was always cutting medical benefits would tell you was getting a raise and then tell you that they could not give one. It was another call center that expects you to set on the phone and let the person on the other line to call you names and say what every they want to you. I fill in this type of employment you should reward – more...  people that are kind and speak with respect to you but that is not the case the people that yell and scream at you and call you names get more credits and kind people. There were days when I would be assigned all queues; meaning I would receive all types of support calls- software, hardware, mission critical, classified etc...
I did not see the opportunity of advancement as much as if I were of other background origin. I saw other advancing so quickly, some of theme were new comers who I have participated in training – more...  initially.
I overall enjoyed working for EDS and I wouldn't mind working for EDS if I am asked or given the opportunity to do so. – less

Customer Service Agent for ProActive products. I learned how to interact with people in order to place their orders and upsell. Co-workers were good. The hardest part sometimes was the upselling. The most enjoyable was talking to people and helping them with their products.

A typical day was spent working with other systems professionals in the delivery of new and enhanced systems for our customers. I learned an incredible amount, technically and from a project management perspective. The management team that I had was a good one and I respected them for their sense of responsibility to the teams that I worked on. My co-workers – more...  were among the very best at what they did. Whether it was technology, quality initiatives, customer focus, or any other aspect of how business was done, these people knew how to work smart to get things done better, cheaper, and faster. The hardest part of the job was when my account was closing down and people were being reassigned elsewhere in the company. It was tough leaving friends that I had known for 10-12 years in some cases. I loved to work with EDS always to have a team work and always help with other people when ever they need help. We all have no negative about other people. We all respect each other very good and hard workers. The sad thing that we all got lay off because company moved to far east of the United State. Wish EDS/HP stay in California!

Originally transitioned Allison Engine (Rolls Royce employees to EDS. This included all SE, IT and communication employees. Later became Operations Manager of IT and communication employees and interfaced with Rolls Royce in Darby, England building relationships and developing a single process help desk.

As I worked through the years at EDS, each year I was promoted through position or pay. I learned a host of things, system administration, computer operations in a data center environment. My co-workers were the best that I have ever worked with on a job. We took care of each other. I was a contract position for six months was not a full time employeee with EDS

I worked exclusively on the Bank of America account while at EDS and with HP. The company went out of their way to stay on top of the demands and needs for the bank.

Its a good job with good benefits full time hours and often get overtime when needed.

Excellent company, great benefits, if you work hard you will be rewarded.

This company was a very people oriented company that cared and catered to its employees

you got free stuff that no one else wanted which was a plus that way you knew how and if the product worked

My boss was cool, but the main core of the company wasn't good. They doesn't care their employees

very friendly work envoriment. willing to teach people medical coding with no experience. work with u on your schedule. always somebody willing to help u out if needed besides your supervisor. when overtime was afford, always willing to help out. very relaxed but productive enviroment.

With the right managers, was a great place to work. Was given a lot of autonomy and self empowerment in most all projects. Employee evaluation process could be a little confusing, but tools for growth were valuable.

Enjoyed my employment with the EDS Corporation since the Fleet / Bank of America merger since August of 2004. I belonged to a great staff and talent pool which provided great experience and growth.
