Job Description

As a result of our success in Chicago we will open a local office on December 2nd. We are looking for a sales representative to work out of our office in Downtown Chicago and work on the Chicago market mainly, but also work on a number of other markets as well, both inside and outside of the State of Illinois.

We require the candidate to use his/her own car for short distance traveling, mainly within Chicago. We reimburse for milages and tolls.

The ideal candidate:

has at least a BS Degree
is enthusiastic about computers, regularly follows the technology news media
enjoys interacting with people both on the phone and in person
has at least 2 years of sales experience (in any industry)
would enjoy serving the education market, and visiting schools regularly
has strong communication and presentation skills
is confident, reliable, punctual and well organized

Responsibilities:

Set up appointments with schools and districts through cold-calls
Deliver on-site presentations
Follow up with sales leads (including incoming leads)
Provide 2-3 hours on-site training sessions to schools in Cook County (mostly new schools)
Occasionally travel to other territories for 1-3 days to meet with potential customers and for other sales activities
