Worked for Eisenhower for a little over 9 years and hurt myself on the job and had to have 2 surgeries and took along time to heal and they let me go, Never did I get a get bwell card from my department nor a call to see how i was doing, but everytime someone else would be out for a surgery they would pass around get well cards for them and i know this because i signed them. The director of my department played favorites and bashed me, called me a terrible name because i reported a unwanted act by two employees in my deptarment. The director doesn't hide the fact that they don'tlike employees that file a workers comp claim. Not a very nice person, hopefully they treat thier family better, actually when i first startred working there i thought i was part of Eisenhowers family but i was very wrong.

I went for an interview, got there 15 minutes earlier just so I could relax within the surroundings. I was escorted to an office and informed that someone would be with me very shortly, after about 30 minutes two interviewers walked in and proceeded with the interview. No apology to me about the wait, nothing! They asked me to talk about me experience. Their whole demeanor seemed cold and arrogant, not warm and inviting. I didn't feel very comfortable and thought to myself this place is not for me, but then I rethought to myself, it's a job maybe I could work here until something more to my taste opened up! A few days after the interview, I went online to check the status of my application and there was a message that though my resume was impressive, we have decided to hire someone else that fit the position better. Then I ran into one of the interviewers and she told me No one has been chosen and that they still were interviewing...Hmmm!

IU feel if they wer not on time and touywere they should have apoloigized. you received a response, not selected. You coimmented that YOU hade decided (while waiting) that YOU did noit want the polace oir position. so, when you happened to see an HR poerson and was told the position had not been filled, they are still looking............they are looking for the right fit...and it was not you...oh well. Good luck1 Its just a job, does nor define you.
