El Camino Hospital is a good place to work, but in my position and department in particular there's not much room for growth. The compensation package is good as well as the benefits. – more... by PRN and SEIU that we have to adhere to in regards to hiring and transferring employees, which employees seem to be frustrated by. Also, employees are upset with certain changes made to their benefit packages that the unions agreed too, but for some reason it's reflected poorly on the HR team. In general I get along with many employees and managers throughtout the hospital, and gained great rapport with many staff members at all levels . Overall, I'm thankful the HR experience that I've gained here at ECH, but I do not want to remain stagnant in my career. I now feel it's time to learn new and more challenging aspects of HR. – less
