Fun coworkers however poor management
Fast Food Prep/Cook (Current Employee), West Covina, CAFebruary 6, 2014
Cons: short breaks. health care is very expensive.
A normal day is busy but very simple. All the business has taught me to be very patient when dealing with difficult people. The management is poor. Hires poor workers and takes personal emotions into account when making decisions. Often avoids confrontation. Co-workers are very friendly. Easy to work with. The job itself is easy.

One of the best restaurants I've ever worked for.
cashier/ shift manager (Former Employee), Mesa, AZNovember 27, 2013
Pros: great opportunity
Cons: very few days off
This was my first job and i think it was one of the best choices i made at that age in my life. There was a lot of opportunity for advancement for me and i was able to sustain 2 years starting out as just a cashier and ending my career there as a shift supervisor pulling in well over my 40 hours a week.

Casier (Current Employee), Alhambra, CANovember 5, 2013
Pros: half off lunch.
Cons: only one break.
extremely busy, high paced work environment. I have learned and grown tremendously trough this company, I have strong and accurate cash handling skills. Management all work equally and make sure we are all okay. The most difficult part of this job is staying patient at all times, dealing with a high velocity of different personalities from our costumers.

Fast food and dine-in
Team Member (Former Employee), San Antonio, TXSeptember 27, 2013
Pros: free lunches, discounts
Cons: fast pace, working with food, short breaks
A typical day would be preparing the side dishes such as rice, beans, and mashed potatoes. I learned how to cook, what measurements of ingredients to use. My management team would help and demonstrate how to cook the food but had team member do all my training. The co-workers helped but I felt they did not explain everything so I could gain from it. – more... The hardest part of my job was the very fast work environment. The most enjoyable part of the day was washing dishes. – less
