Cashier (Former Employee), Phoenix, AZApril 4, 2014
It was exciting for me going to work at El Pollo Loco because I din't know what to expect, some days we had lots of work to do, and some other days it was calm...I was able to gain customer service, and learn how to do multi task.

Very Productive Day
Cashier / Hostess (Current Employee), Brownsville, TXMarch 20, 2014
Pros: communication, clean enviorment, flexible hours
When im heading in to work, i know it's work time. I typically work the night shift, because i go to school in nthe mornings. I've learned so much stuff at the retaurant, but the one thing that I'm proud to say is that "i am a great chicken seller." I love talking to the people and providing them with the best options.

This is my first job i've been working here for over a year now and i believe its time to go into better opportunities and gain more professional skills. It was a great place for me to gain customer service skills. My co workers and managers are by far great people to work with, i've never had an problems and they are friendly and very helpful. I really – more... enjoy having the chance to interact with customers and being able to be friendly and greet them. – less

Cashier (Former Employee), McAllen, TXFebruary 18, 2014
Basically taking orders & making sure everyone was taken care of while at the same time maintaining the restaurants. I learned a lot from others from learning how to cook certain things to just understanding what time of each day gets most busiest..

Fun coworkers however poor management
Fast Food Prep/Cook (Current Employee), West Covina, CAFebruary 6, 2014
Cons: short breaks. health care is very expensive.
A normal day is busy but very simple. All the business has taught me to be very patient when dealing with difficult people. The management is poor. Hires poor workers and takes personal emotions into account when making decisions. Often avoids confrontation. Co-workers are very friendly. Easy to work with. The job itself is easy.
