Hardest part of the job
Checker (Former Employee), Downey, CAJune 16, 2014
Pros: free soccer game tickets
Cons: work/life balance, advancemetns, salary
The hardest part of the job is the poor work/life balance. Employees work six days a week and their day off is not always the same day in the week. The work schedule changes every week so it is hard to have a second job, confirm to attend a child's school open house, or go to school. The company tends to give away free soccer game tickets for Galaxy – more... but never able to attend because of the poor work/life balance. – less

Cashier (Former Employee), San Bernardino, CAFebruary 11, 2013
Pros: friendly customers
Cons: difficult to accomodate my schedule as i am a student
A typical day at work required certain procedures such as counting my till, requesting an additional loan amount before I began to do my duties as a cashier. I learned to work quickly and confidently while handling cash. Management was great and provided excellent customer service. My co-workers were very busy at all times and consistent with their – more... work. The hardest part of the job was when I started as a cashier I had to learn to count my till, coupons, wic etc. under 15 minutes. The most enjoyable part of the job was when at the end of my shift I had a perfect till. – less

Cashier all day. Do some go-backs. about 20-30 hours a week. Learned about teamwork, patience, self- control and being respectul. Management is fenomenal and easy going. Co- workers are just friends and have duties to wory about at work. Hardest part of the job is unhappy customers. Most enjoyable part of the job is happy customers.

The do not care about the employees
Assistant Store Director/Management (Former Employee), Fontana, CAJanuary 17, 2013
Pros: pay
Cons: you are just an other number
The pay is good but you have to be in good terms with management at the corporate level because if they do not like you, you would not have a chance to grow in the company. Also there is to mach favoritism.

Fun Grocery Store
Cashier/Runner (Former Employee), National City, CASeptember 25, 2012
Pros: paid weekly
Cons: short breaks, long shifts.
A typical day of work I was running around the store to clean up whatever wasnt done the night before. I would take out the trash from all the bins around the store. I would conduct store sweeps at least every hour to make sure the floor was safe and clean for all customers to shop with no accidents, as well as making sure the restrooms were clean and – more... stocked. I answered to the best of my ability and customer questions regarding store products and sales. I helpe locate items. I restocked merchandise customers didnt want. All in all, i was kept busy for my shifts. Always something to do and i enjoyed working there. – less
