Will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and work closely with General Counsel to assist in the development and implementation of effective risk management and insurance programs.
Manage the development and implementation of risk management and insurance programs for PAP entities.
Assist in responding to crisis situations and adverse outcomes, providing consultation and direction when complex situations arise that threaten the assets of the organization.
Develop and implement a strategic plan for the management of the workers' compensation program and claims reserving process in conjunction with the insurance carrier(s).
Compile and quantify data regarding incidents as well as loss costs, in order to provide management with information to monitor and control companywide risk exposures and total cost of risk.
Assist claims adjusters and defense counsel with the internal management of claims in order to reduce cost and ensure acceptable outcomes.
Coordinate in conjunction with the finance department, the establishment of appropriate insurance allocations for insurance and loss cost, etc.
Assist in the operational activities of the insurance broker and various insurance providers regarding procurement, maintenance and administration of organizational insurance programs.
B.S Business Management, Insurance Management, or related field.
3-5 years experience with insurance concepts, coverages, underwriting or claims, financial planning.
Accounting knowledge helpful.
Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and Database Management Skills required.
