As an office manager you are expected to be a secretary, school nurse, payroll and accounts payable, center of all information between staff and parents, substitute teacher and substitute principal. If you are unable to handle chaos along with the fun parts of the job it soon

I really enjoyed the interactions with the students as well as the parents and implementing new ideas to streamline processes. Having to deal with constant state demands for testing and reporting was always a moving target.
I worked in two schools in the same day so I dealt with approximately 700 students and 75 staff - each with a different personality and life issue. – less
