The Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center is a faith-based, not-for-profit, nursing facility that provides long and short-term pediatric, rehabilitative and palliative care to 137 children from the New York metropolitan area. Founded by the Sisters of Charity and formerly part of the New York Foundling, the Center cares for and provides irreplaceable services to the New York metropolitan community's most vulnerable, physically and neurologically challenged children. We care for infants as young as 2 weeks old, children and adolescents up to the age of 21. The easiest way to describe us is that we are a Nursing Home for children.
Our Mission: In the tradition of St. Elizabeth Seton, we cherish all children and believe in the healing power of loving relationships. As a center of pediatric, rehabilitative, and palliative care, we are inspired by her legacy as we join with families in the holistic care of their children.
The Pediatric Center is dedicated to this vision. Beyond meeting medical needs, we are committed to changing lives, one child at a time. – less
