Facility Description: 110 Employees (13 Salaried/97 Non-Union)
Machining Manufacturing & Tube Mill Production
Building constructed in 1962 107,800 sq. ft. facility on 24 acres. Tube Mill occupies 22,000 sq. ft.
- Produces 35 tube sizes
- Three (3) wire diameters
Copper Fitting Fabrication occupies 86,000 sq. ft.
- High volume 1/4” to 1” diameter
- 160 line items
- 1,000,000 pieces or 80,000 pounds per day
- Manufactures new future products: small diameter Xpress and Qtite
Purpose of Position
Responsible for the total operation and maintenance of the assigned business unit, including efficient and safe manufacturing of quality products consistent with company policies and procedures. Accountable for overall management in its achievement of all financial goals set forth by Corporate.

Plan, organize, and direct the manufacturing and maintenance operations to ensure the most effective return on assets.
Maximize plant profitability within permissible legal limits, employing sound business principles.
Initiate plans and processes which minimize and/or reduce manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, capital, production and maintenance.
Maintain and enforce plant operating procedures, in accordance with Corporate guidelines, implementation of Environmental Compliance Policy, Federal, State, and Local Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations as well as employment law requirements.
Establish management practices which include all employees’ positive involvement with lean manufacturing and provide opportunity for constructive input and action.
Select plant staff personnel, through established employee selection process, who possess high quality competencies, top-grade skills, and meet the requirements of the position.
Foster a well-trained and motivated staff.
Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of plant objectives.
Protect plant assets to enhance value of the facility.
Establish plant revenue and expense budgets in conjunction with Corporate Operations and Finance. Responsibility for line item budget administration.
Define capital requirements and develop appropriate financial justification for expenditures.
BS in Engineering, Business, Supervision Leadership Management or equivalent degree.
Demonstrated abilities in successful leadership roles with varying and increased responsibilities.
7 – 10 years experience in high productive manufacturing environment.
At least 5 years of managerial experience.
