Help! I am thinking about going back to school. I have my associates in medical administration and from the research and advice I have been given, the next step up would be healthcare management, but I have heard it is better to go for something more specific so I have thought about HIT to HIM. I got my associates at Rasmussen and they offer all three degrees. My fear with HIT and becoming RHIT certified is limiting myself to a coding job. I don't want to code for 8 hours a day but don't mind using it here and there. Am I setting myself up for misery by going the route of HIT to HIM? Can I get other jobs that aren't just coding all day?
