Busy daily startup to put all the overnight issues into resolution queues and to start working on any new hardware quotes.

Hardest part is to help bring along non technical user fast enough. Patience is the key and to persuade them gently.

Best part is when you get the win of a successful design.

Cons: bad compensation, long unpaid hours, poor management structure
I had very negative experiencing working with EHIT Ancillary Clinical IT Team. There is lack of leadership and management in project planning and executions. This results in management team applying pressure to the staff in order to deliver tasks on time and budget.
Expect to work 9AM to 7PM every day to satisfy your manager. There are constant emergencies – more... due to the lack of structure and management.
Expect to carry an on-call pager with you to support the production system 24hours. You will NOT get paid overtime for all the night hours you put to resolve production issues. You must show up the next day on time to work.
People leave this company on regular bases for this and many more issues.

Pros: 10.86 hours off for every 75 hours worked, up tp 375 choice time hours.
Cons: poor management structure.
Starting as the IT department for Montefiore, Emerging Health tried to become a client-focused IT consulting company for various healthcare facilities in the region. While still wholly owned by Montefiore, this mid-sized subsidiary never really took off on its own, and still largely remains simply Montefiore's IT department.
