Had good people working there.
Setup-operator cnc turning/drill & tap, Hardener (Former Employee), Maysville, KYJuly 18, 2014
Pros: had paid 20 min lunch and benifits.
Cons: was a very hot job in the summer.
Management was a joke, they had their picks and wouldn't listen to the people working on the floor which made for a stressful environment. Most of the co-workers were pretty good and everyone got along for the most part, everyone has their days. During the day I would setup and run my cnc turning machine, cnc hardener, robot, and also drove the tow – more... motor getting and moving parts for the people in my department. – less

RSD Project Manager and Senior Credit Analyst (Former Employee), Westerville, OHFebruary 22, 2014
Pros: on-site gas pumps with payroll deduction available and free to employees on-site gym facilities
Cons: healthcare benefits need improving
I was self sufficient and independently worked at my work station. I worked my weekly cases with continuous internal and external email/phone communication of my assigned customers. I was responsible for 20% of our accounts receivable for the major accounts. The hardest part for me was occasionally waiting for timely responses from slower paying customers. – more... Had to work a little harder at times and think outside the box to reach timely resolutions. I enjoyed these challenges and always worked hard and reached my monthly targets. Was very successful, organized and detail oriented. – less

This job takes care of its own, but is not for everyone
Valve Technician (Former Employee), Paramount, CADecember 21, 2013
Pros: good pay
Cons: hours were unpredictable, slow learning pace, long commute
A typical day at work ranged between eight to sometimes fourteen hours a day. I worked on process control valves for the oil industry. I learned what I could from other seasoned temporary contractors when they were employed with the company. I spent most of my time picking up and delivering valves to local oil plants in the Los
Angeles area. The management – more... thought more about making money than they did about the workers. There were some co-workers I didn't mind working with and others I'd rather leave be. Some of them didn't mind showing me how to do certain things when work pertained to building or repairing valves. Others wouldn't give me the time of day. The hardest part of the job was the slow learning pace and waiting to go to the training. Also the commute to and from work was making the job very hard to stay optimistic about. – less
