With its move to Atlanta in 1998, EMSi leveraged its web, creative and information technology services with the idea of developing tools to enable data translation and interchange among disparate systems. After recruiting talent with decades of experience in EDI -- primarily in the health care arena, EMSi has grown to nearly 20 employees based both in Atlanta and across the United States. Its client base has grown too, now including SafeCo, Xcare, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Massachusetts, and HealthPlus PHSP of Brooklyn.
