Web Development company located in Northwest Austin seeks an energetic administrative assistant to help provide administrative support in a fun, team-oriented office. This administrative assistant will work under the supervision of the operations manager. This individual will need to learn our environment quickly and be very flexible. This is a nice opportunity for somebody that wants to get in on the early stages of a company that is growing fast.
The role of the administrative assistant in our office is very important. This individual will perform many duties in the office and will be highly visible. Below are some specific duties that the administrative assistant will need to perform:
Attending to phone calls as necessary.
Replying to emails received from clients.
Data Entry into our PSA, ConnectWise.
Assisting the internet marketing department with document writing as necessary.
Planning, scheduling meetings and intra-office communication.
New employee orientation and training coordination.
Coordination of meetings which may include on-premise and off-site meetings.
Using different productivity machines around the office including scanners, printers, postage meter, etc.
Regular interaction with all the staff members including the technical department.
Maintain office files and documents as necessary.
Assist upper management as necessary.
Sort and distribute incoming mail.
Prepare and mail all US/UPS/FedEx Packages.
May be called upon to assist with special projects and assume responsibility for the development, administration, and promotion of specific projects, as required.
Assist with bookkeeping/accounting functions as appropriate.
High School Diploma
Very good communication skills
Typing of 40+ words per minute
Microsoft Office productivity suite (Office, Excel and Powerpoint 2007)
30+ hours of college
Familiarity with HTML
Typing of 50+ words per minute
Some level of financial processing (Quickbooks 2010 Pro or newer)
