Started in Nov 04 with placement at Georgia Pacific covering 6 wk maternity leave in customer service dept. Within 2 wks was effectively handling complete workload. Processing orders, taking inbound customer calls, resolving issues, scheduling deliveries, along with other misc tasks as needed. Because of this, many of my peers worked diligently talking with management & trainers to find an open permanent position within the company. The typical wait period for temp hires is 18 mos. I was hired within 6 / 7 mos.
