Senior Recruiter (Current Employee) –  Atlanta, GASeptember 17, 2017
Poor leadership from the VP level down, Engineering, HR and Accounting depts continue to turn over talented team members due to the Executive team's commitment to promoting poor leaders into positions with direct reports.

Poor Leadership
Recruiting Lead (Current Employee) –  Atlanta, GASeptember 15, 2017
Company promotes a commitment to develop better leaders while continuing to promote it's weakest ones and is surprised by the subsequent high turn-over. People leave their managers, not their jobs.

Mechanical Production Supervisor (Current Employee) –  East Peoria, ILJuly 27, 2017
Very interesting place to work but you must be a great problem solver and be able to be fluid in your thinking. You won't do well here if you're not willing to help other people or groups finish their job.
Pros
Shop personnel are very knowledgeable and willing to teach anyone the skills required to succeed.

If you're up for a challenge, this is a great place to work. You will not be bored. The work itself is interesting and exciting.

There are growing pains in the electrical department. Working as a team is sometimes difficult.

The gainshare program is a nice benefit.

Ok for an esop
Senior Mechanical Engineer (Former Employee) –  Chattanooga, TNMay 30, 2017
The pay and benefits are on par with other A&E firms. The retirement is OK provided one remains with the company long enough to be vested in the ESOP program.

GEORGIA FACILITY PROJECT MANAGER (Former Employee) –  Barnesville, GeorgiaMay 26, 2017
They do not micro-manage you, which I loved. Most of the people were very easy to work with. The bad thing is work flow, it's up and down as to how busy you are.
Pros
Nice atmosphere
Cons
Work flow... feast or famine

Wonderful co-workers, Poorly managed at senior level
Senior Specialist (Former Employee) –  Germantown, MDMay 15, 2017
Although the lower level management tried to be fair with work/life balance, the senior management was only interested in driving stock price higher. This was an employee owned company and the senior managers had the majority of the stock.
Pros
Wonderful co-workers
Cons
poor management and expectations (forced "free-time") on projects
