When Uncle Sam says, "I want you for the US Army," Engility Holdings strives to answer the call, and then some. A government services provider, Engility offers government agencies a myriad of support services, including systems engineering and software development, program management, defense-related education, training and staffing, field management and logistics, and language translation services. Its customers have included the US Department of Defense and foreign governments, as well as US civilian agencies and commercial entities. Engility was formed in 2012 when L-3 Communications spun off five of its government services businesses, which were, in turn, organized under the Engility Holdings banner.
The businesses spun off from L-3 Communications include MPRI, an education, training, and staffing company; Command & Control Systems and Software, an aviation technology firm; security services company Global Security & Engineering Solutions; language services company Linguist Operations & Technical Support; and International Resources Group, which provides international support and relief services for natural disasters and other critical events.
The company operates in more than 140 countries on six continents. – less
