If you are not part of their "benefit me" squad or "leave to get your hair done" squad or "two hour lunch when the floor is short" squad, then you are treated as a second rate employee.

The culture is exactly like high school, and the DON is Regina Goerge! She will throw whomever under the bus to get ahead, and/or make herself look good. She doesn't care about the well being of the residents. She care about parading around in tacky heels, and playing dress up, and puts on enough make up to make Mimi Bobeck jealous.

The work environment at Ensign services is horrendous and Ensign culture is nonsense. You constantly need to worry about job security on a day to day basis. CEO's of the buildings are just Administrators, and only the most scandalous CEO/Administrators last longer than 6months.

The facility I work in is absolutely disgusting because they only have minimal housekeeping staff due to "not in the budget mentality". This SNF has a commercial grade carpet in most rooms and areas and I'm truthfully telling you that in some rooms your feet stick to the floor. It's nasty! All about $$$

Culture is very well defined, discussed, and lived. In rare form, the executive team embodies the culture better than anyone else at the company, and leads by example.
