ASSISTANT MANAGER (Former Employee) –  Burbank, CASeptember 10, 2017
Enterprise has a good training program. They teach you the basics and help you grow to become a better manager. The job is tough and demanding but is a really great place to start.

Good place to work out of college.
Management Trainee (Current Employee) –  Downers Grove, ILSeptember 10, 2017
Its a good place to learn how to run a business at if you ever go into a management job. But you work 100+ hours every two weeks. No time for work/life balance. And the pay doesn't add up to the hours worked. But you learn a lot which is good.

Administrative Assistant (Current Employee) –  San Ramon, CASeptember 10, 2017
Great working at the corporate office verses working in rental . The corporate office allows you to balance your home life better than if you were working in the rental offices. Great colleagues throughout the enterprise company positive attitudes all around .

Hard Grueling Work for Poor Pay
Management Assistant (Former Employee) –  Birmingham, ALSeptember 9, 2017
This company is a leader in its industry but the work is hard grueling dirty; work. It is not uncommon to wash cars in your suit and heals. Working there is like pledging and so is advancing. The pay is horrible for whats asked of employees which is why turnover is so high.
Pros
You get to tryout different cars.
Cons
Pay

Branch Manager (Current Employee) –  Orlando, FLSeptember 9, 2017
If you are a fast learner then this is a great starting company. You are able to move up the chain very quickly if you are able to understand and attack the different goals that you are presented.

Long hours and low pay but a tremendous amount of potential career-wise. You have to put in the work. Can get discouraging because some co-workers can be unethical.

Quick-paced yet really fun job shuttling cars around from point A to point B all day.
Shuttle Driver (Former Employee) –  Salt Lake City, UTSeptember 7, 2017
I liked the work, the job, the people, the culture and everything else. There was just no established career path to move from part-time to full-time. Unfortunately, the part-time positions received no benefits.
Pros
Flexible work duties and hours
Cons
No career pathway to promote up to full-time

High Energy and Long Day Job
Manager Trainee (Former Employee) –  Jackson, MSSeptember 7, 2017
Throughout the work day, it can be extremely long and tiring. There are many days with upset customers due to not having any cars available for customers with reservations to pick up vehicles.

The workplace it full of high energy, outgoing, competitive workers.

I did not like having to check customers in cars raining, sleet, or snowing. Here in MS it can get pretty hot so there are sweaty days and the sun can be very draining.
Pros
Office sometime buys breakfast.
Cons
Long hours

Great people in the company but long hours and inconsistant management are drawbacks.
MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT (Current Employee) –  Boise, IDSeptember 7, 2017
You work with amazing people but management lacks in consistancy, some are great others become lazy. Great pay and benifits but work schedule can be drastically improved. No work life balance. Overall you learn very valuable skills at Enterprise and it is a great place to start your career. The people who your work with each day drastically impact if you will like this job, meaning make sure you do your do dilligence on who you will work with before you start.

Excellent Company with Amazing Culture
Remarketing Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) –  Austin, TXSeptember 7, 2017
Working for Enterprise was an excellent experience. The team-oriented culture brought all employees together. Regardless of job title, you were treated with the same respect as any high level executive.
Pay was fair for what was expected of you. They had a "dress for success" program that aimed at helping all of the people in the office feel secure in complying with the mandatory business professional dress code. This was on top of various other benefits.
Pros
Inviting Culture; Strong Management
Cons
Sometimes Long Hours

Great for Out of College
Management Trainee (Former Employee) –  Torrington, CTSeptember 7, 2017
ERAC is a great place who's mentality is very much employees first. They take care of you and in turn hope that you take care of them. Adequate time off and advancement options make it a great place to begin your pst college life.

Stressful with High Turnover Rate
Accounts Payable Clerk (Current Employee) –  New York StateSeptember 6, 2017
Be willing to relocate (not just another city but more likely a different state) if you want any kind of advancement. People can be great, but pressure for sales from rental branches can be intense. Admin office is stressful with high volumes of work and almost constant turnover. One vendor commented that in the 15 years he has done business with Enterprise, he has had 13 different contacts.

Great Starting Job
Assistant Branch Manager (Former Employee) –  San Antonio, TXSeptember 6, 2017
Working for Enterprise taught me a lot about business and how to handle irate customers/clients. You learn how to manage a team, cut costs, and drive revenue. You work a lot and in a stressful environment. I was fortunate to have incredible managers while I worked at Enterprise. Advancement is based on performance and occurred rapidly. Lots of pressure on sales. I didn't enjoy pushing insurance on little old ladies etc. But I learned a ton and for those who stick through the rigors of branch management, compensation and advancement to 6 figures is possible within 5-10 years.
Pros
Learned a lot, Young employees, Fun/Competitive atmosphere, great benefits, Opportunities for advancement, Looks great on a resume
Cons
Long hours, high stress, churn and burn operation

Branch Manager (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXSeptember 6, 2017
Enterprise gave you the opportunity to run a multi million dollar operation straight out of college. They had excellent benefits as well as ongoing training to allow you to become the best person you could be.

Enterprise Training Program
Management Trainee (Current Employee) –  Tucson, AZSeptember 6, 2017
While you do learn a lot very quickly in this position, the hours and lack of appropriate compensation make it a brutal work day. There is no work life balance- expect to work 7am to 7pm (sometimes without a lunch break).
