ENVIRON's culture is one of collaboration. People work hard there but are recognized for their contributions to both individual projects and overall success of the company. Individuals are encouraged to communicate along all levels of the company.
There is no such thing a a "typical" day Human Resources. There was always a "To Do" List but it was put aside to meet the immediate needs of your clients (employees). Often there were meetings with Managers and/or Principals planning hiring needs, discussing personnel issues and remedies, along with special projects that needed resolution. I enjoyed the fact that I could help so many people in this position. Issues might range from a benefits question or problem to be resolved to discussions about performance improvement or Federal/State laws that needed to be followed.
All-in-All I would say the ENVIRON gave me the chance everyday to learn something new and provided continued growth and upward mobility in my career.
