We are seeking a full time Medical Assistant/Laboratory Technician with at least 6 months phlebotomy experience to work alongside our dedicated team of health care providers in an oncology/hematology office at our San Leandro location.

Responsibilities and Qualifications for this position include (but are not limited to):

Scheduling patients
Answering multiple phone lines
Phlebotomy & sample management
Obtaining and managing Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Assisting doctors
Managing patient flow
Support front reception

A Medical Assisting Certificate is required
A High School Diploma is required

1yr of experience in a related health care field with at least 6 months phlebotomy experience is strongly preferred

Being bilingual in English and Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus

Ideal candidates will be able to balance these tasks while maintaining flexible, friendly interaction with clients and staff. The ability to work independently, proactively and adapt appropriately to changing priorities is a must.

This is a demanding but rewarding position with room for growth. As a growing medical practice, our patients come first. Respectful communication when problem solving is essential. Recent graduates will be considered, but at least one year's related experience is preferred.
