My primary objective is to fax out/ follow up on documentation to be signed by the doctor for needed insurance authorization such as: Initial Evaluations, Re-evaluations, Re-evaluation Recommendations, Progress Notes, Discharge Notes, Medical Nutrition and additional documentation for new referrals for all three disciplines (Speech, Occupational &Physical Therapy) as needed for multiple markets. I also help enter new referrals and follow up I email the therapists and area managers on a daily basis for discrepancies in the paperwork that need to be amended or modified before being sent out to the doctor. Create and maintain personnel files for all new therapists and oncoming ABA Aides Scan and upload appropriate documentation to patients medical chart in Epic based software; coordination of care documents, admit paperwork. Verify and upload visit logs. Conduct background checks on prospective new employees through TX DPS website and CIA website. Weekly review of Plan of Care Compliance and monthly review of Pending and Incomplete Lists
I do not think highly of the present management at the clinic I was working at. I believe they show favoritism at this company. I enjoyed working with my co-workers and the therapists were amazing to work with.
