Great place to work, great people
Contact Center Lead (Former Employee) –  Beaverton, ORDecember 8, 2017
One of the things I enjoyed about working at Eqip were my managers. I felt they really looked out for me and had wanted to see me do well. 30 min luch would be the only downside.
Pros
Great managers
Cons
30 min lunch

OK place to work
Service Desk Technician (Former Employee) –  Kansas City, KSDecember 6, 2017
Generally laid back, solid steady place. Good people to work with and well laid out offices for the most part. Established work flow could have been better, but company is growing and in flux.

Needs Better Benefits, and shorter contract time.
Project Coordinator (Current Employee) –  Beaverton, ORNovember 20, 2017
All people are hired through Adecco, so the benefits are really horrible and it takes forever to get hired on. Pay is good, but with everyone being contract workers, it fosters not the best environment.
Pros
Pay
Cons
benefits, no paid time off

good place but shaky job
Temp Claims Analyst (Former Employee) –  BvtnNovember 16, 2017
Most people there are temporary so no matter how long employed there is no job security. It's a huge place of a depressing gray hue and the bathrooms are far away and often full.

But the people are lovely, it's a relaxed place, there's always a challenge, and it's easy to miss.
Pros
healthy atmosphere
Cons
ridiculous commute, full bathrooms

Great Place to work if you have the right manager
Developer (Former Employee) –  Kansas City, KSNovember 14, 2017
Competitive salary and benefits package, flexible schedule and good atmosphere. Good people working here and lots of positives. Some managers are not so great however, and if you don't have a good one, the whole team suffers for it.

Lots of supervision, low pay, drudgery
Contract Attorney Projects (Current Employee) –  New York, NYOctober 9, 2017
Epiq is your typical temp document review firm. You will swipe and have all movements monitored, the pay is low, and the work is mindless. It is good is you need short term work and quick cash.
Pros
Free unpaid downtime between projects
Cons
demeaning culture

Data Entry/Fraud Department (Current Employee) –  Temple Terrace, FLAugust 11, 2017
A company that works with other call centers. Very competitive and hard to grow in this company. Also, you will learn many things about the case or the company, most of the cases are related to fraud. And no benefits.

Hire Real Employees
Mailroom Administrator (Former Employee) –  Portland, ORJuly 31, 2017
Epiq thrives on temps. Almost all staff come from temp agencies. People always need training, there is no job security, no real team feel because everyone is just trying to hold on and get a coveted permanent badge. The work can be interesting, the people can be good coworkers, the culture just needs lots of help! People need to know they have a job the next day!

Quick paced and friendly workplace with a nice break room with tv
Processing Analyst (Current Employee) –  PhoeJune 27, 2017
A typical day at work starts off with checking your work queue to see what projects you will be working on for the day, bi weekly department update meeting as well as bi weekly one on ones with managers. Prioritizing task to make sure they are completed by due date.

Hardest part of the job meeting deadlines on very large projects

Most enjoyable part of the job is learning new and different work flows from co-works and others to do your job most efficient

Great place to work and lots of things to learn. Unfortunately, the job here was quite repetitive in doing the same paperwork and processes over and over.

Easy and convenient place to work
Customer Service Representative - Call Center (Former Employee) –  Beaverton, ORMay 11, 2017
I was not too bad, it was a very convenient place to work, just off the free way on Allen Blvd in Beaverton. The only problem was that they don't offer parking to temp employee . You have to go park a little bit far from the company and walk to work. Not good at all. Give you a lot of stress because the police were giving sometime tickets to people for improper parking. You were not able to concentrate if you park in a bad place and just wondered that you may have ticket. Also, the was a lot off micromanagement in the Call Center Department.
Pros
Sometime free lunches were provided
Cons
No parking for temp

Administrative Claims/Data Specialist (Former Employee) –  Beaverton, ORMay 9, 2017
Poor management, no room for growth. The training is thorough and frequent. A lot of down time when systems are not working.
Break room available with microwaves and refrigerators. Rarely hire
on temp employees as permanent. Pay is low for the industry.
Pros
Free Coffee and bus passes
Cons
No job security

Technical Business Analyst (Former Employee) –  Beaverton, ORMay 6, 2017
There are too many details that are not tied together by coherent and compatible systems. Lack of documentation or written down agreements or instructions. Verbal instructions are given to different people and the instructions do not match.
Cons
lacking in parking; hard to get to work

Attorney at Law (Former Employee) –  New York, NYApril 14, 2017
I found Epiq Systems to be an excellent place to work. The management was very understanding and helpful to the workers, the staff attorneys were quck to respond to our questions, and Epiq made the atmosphere relaxed.
Pros
Free breakfast every Friday, time and half pay
Cons
People terminated at a moment's notice

Great work life balance but...
Mail Sorter (Former Employee) –  Beaverton, ORMarch 12, 2017
Nepotism is rampant here. There were times where we had nearly had no time to finish a project which was nicely balanced with extremely slow periods. Communication from management could use improvement. I would rate the overall job satisfaction 8/10, I would work here again
Pros
occasional free pizza, lots of overtime during busy season.
Cons
nepotism, dreary/depressing atmosphere.

not a good place to work and very competitive. I never was utilized and I wish there were more opportunities to grow there. The temp employees were laid off all the time without warning and it was very stressful to work there.

Contract Attorney (Former Employee) –  New York, NYMarch 3, 2017
A swamp of leeches scalping contract attorneys' hourly wages. Not a real value-producing business. Should be investigated by DOL.
