A lot has changed in 27 years. I was much younger, so my expectations were much less. It was a good place to work. I got bored with the job.I wanted more, so I left and went back to school.
My work hours were 8 am to 4:30 pm. Management was very fair to me. I had one, then two small children. They worked with me by allowing me to combine my 30 minute lunch break and both 15 minute breaks so I could leave to tend to my sons during the day. They also allowed me to change shifts so I could take my older son to school and pick him up. I never had a problem with management. I was a very committed, hardworking, dependable and loyal employee and was treated as such.
There really wasn't a hard part of the job. I am a quick learner.
I enjoyed the employees. I like people and enjoyed all kinds of personalities.
