How it works:
When you partner with Eschelon Merchant Services we will work with you to create a customized marketing program to inform your supporters about Project Give Back. Once we have an approved marketing program we will work with you to contact your foundation's supporters to explain how we can reduce their processing costs and increase their service levels and at the same time establishing a funding raising stream for your organization. For all referred business owners from your organizations supporter list you will receive a percentage of our profits on a monthly recurring basis.

1. What is Project Give Back?
Project Give Back is a unique opportunity to help foundations and non-profit organizations in their fundraising efforts. This program offers foundations the ability to generate contributions from their business patrons at no cost to the foundation through a partnership with Eschelon Merchant Services.
2. How does the program work?
Foundations can receive a percentage of our profits on a monthly, recurring basis for all referred business patrons that select Eschelon payment processing services--providing a new, ongoing stream of donations in support of their mission.
3. What products/services are offered by Eschelon Merchant Services to businesses?
Eschelon provides the services and systems that businesses need in order to process payments for all major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover, as well as check payments. Our wide-range of payment options, point-of-sale solutions, and superior customer service standards have helped us become one of the fastest growing processors in the industry.
4. What type of businesses can participate in the program?
Any business that accepts credit cards or checks as a form of payment for their products/services can participate.
5. What does my foundation need to do to participate in the program?
Participation in the program requires just a few simple steps. The first thing we need is your endorsement to offer the Project Give Back program to your patrons. Next, we will build a sales/marketing plan, obtain your approval, and then launch the program.
6. Our patron list is confidential. How can we participate in this program and be assured that the patron list will not be utilized for other solicitation purposes.
To ensure complete privacy and confidentiality, Eschelon will sign a non-disclosure/confidentiality agreement that ensures the list will only be used for the Project Give Back program. You may also choose to contact your supports and refer them directly to Eschelon without disclosure of your list. This step will be discussed in great detail during the marketing plan phase.
7. When and how often will my foundation receive contributions?
Your foundation will receive contributions on a monthly basis. Eschelon receives its revenue payments from the major credit cards approximately 20 days after the close of each month and we require 7-10 days for processing and accounting so your organization will receive funds by the last day of each month.
8. How long will my foundation receive contributions?
Your foundation will continue to receive contributions for as long as your foundation participates in the program and/or the referred business uses Eschelon for their payment processing services.
9. How will we know which referred patrons are contributing a portion of their services fees to our foundation?
Eschelon will compile and send you a quarterly report that will provide the total donation amount for each referred/signed business patron. Eschelon will also give the foundation access to portfolio reporting through our proprietary Merchant Exchange tool.
10. How much can my foundation expect to receive from this program?
We will contribute a portion of profits for all referred, signed patrons. The more referred businesses that sign with Eschelon, the more your foundation can receive. Based on the assumption that the foundation's Project Give Back portfolio would have similar profitability characteristics as Eschelon's existing business portfolio, the foundation would receive approximately $1,000 for every $1,000,000 of monthly transaction volume. Please note that actual results will vary for each foundation.

Your business patrons can reduce their payment processing costs and improve their level of service, while also supporting your foundation - at no additional expense. Project Give Back also provides a new solution for businesses that may want to contribute to foundations, but find their philanthropic budgets are limited as a result of today's challenging economy.
