Pros: profitable, experienced employees
Cons: poor executive communication skills
ESCO has been privately held for 100 years. In order to finance continued growth, the company plans to go public when markets permit. This will result in a substantial cultural change in a company where executive communication skills are lacking. ESCO enjoys strong market demand, makes great products, and has a lot of experienced employees. Not clear that executive management is up to the challenge of taking this company to the next level.
