Fun atmosphere, all for the kids, good networking and learning

ESF is a great place with solid values and a fantastic goal. During the summer strives to develop not only its campers but its staff (typically education/pysch/phys ed, but not limited to that) as well. The "f" in ESF stands for Fun, and that definitely occurs every day - through the summer and throughout the year for the full time folks. Ask any parent – more... what they think of ESF and you will get nothing less than a gleaming review due to it's attention to safety, customer service, and of course a great experience for the campers. Sometimes can get a little stressful but at the end of the day, the end goal makes the stress and long days/nights worth it. You won't retire at ESF ($) but if you're looking to make a difference in a child's life and looking to better yourself, this is the place to be. – less

Fun place with fun people
Counselor (Former Employee), Philadelphia, PA – June 18, 2012
A typical day at ESF was keeping track of a group of children all day long, through breakfast, morning activities, classroom activities like reading, math, science, choir, and violin, and outside activities like sports and physical education. Also monitoring their behavior throughout the day, every day. Tiring, but rewarding. Staff is very supportive – more... and helpful, great communicators, great service when dealing with others, great business ethics. – less
