Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) – Lufkin, TX – August 14, 2017
inbound and outbound calls. Sometimes customers are rude. The hardest part is trying to make a sale.I enjoyed the challenge of making a sale. Never a dull moment. Different cultures of people working there
Throughout the building all the managers are walking around encouraging the agents to keep heads strong and stick with the agenda. Those who make quota usually get rewarded with things like: free lunch, or get points to get better items and things like that.
Etech (Former Employee) – Nacogdoches, TX – August 9, 2017
it was good environment for the job but the mangers and how things were weren't professional. Some days the calls where low and some days calls where high and we had to get the calls out of the way fast.
This is a good place to work as a second job or for someone just starting out. They have relatively flexible shifts, and are somewhat accommodating. They list the ability to receive performance based bonuses, but it's nearly impossible to meet the criteria, so don't bank on those.
Agent (Former Employee) – Nacogdoches, TX – July 20, 2017
At Etech you are surrounded by many people day by day, which tends to come in handy as you will have many questions. The work is repetitive, as with most telecommunications jobs, but the environment is fun and lively. The management can be hard to work with, especially when it comes to finding out how to get yourself promoted and move up in the company, as well as actually getting them to do the paperwork to help you do so, but mostly they are helpful and will answer any questions you may have. All in all, not a bad place to work if you don't mind talking on the phone for 8 hours a day and occassionally having to deal with upset customers.
Working at Etech is a great starting point for students. On the count that wiil work with your schedule and turtion reburisment. The job can be pretty laid back job to have if you are great at selling products and service to custoimer.
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) – Nacogdoches, TX – June 24, 2017
Etech is a decent place to work at, the pay is good, the hours are good, however transfers within the company are hard to get done. Still currently working there, but due to money needs, looking for part or full time.
Support Team (Former Employee) – Texas – June 11, 2017
Claim to be very flexible but do not work well with school scheduling and events. · Provided customer support and professional help for customers that needed assistance with their online accounts and/or services they were seeking or had with the company. · Provided leadership to co-workers needing assistance in obtaining more knowledge about the company and with handling difficult customers
Customer service rep/e-chat sales (Current Employee) – Dallas, TX – June 6, 2017
This place is unprofessional. Some of the management are rude, and don't even care to learn your name. Work place rules changes faster then the Texas weather. Its not an happy place to work. because the work load is way to much for your pay grade. This job gives you no sense of job security.
I believe it is a good place to work as call centers go, excellent training. I learned how to chat with 3 customers on-line at the same time, as well as web support which I had not done before. There is room for advancement, and the Director is one of the best people you would hope to ever meet or work for. The hardest part of the job is retaining all of the information, and the most enjoyable part is the people.
