Good workplace, great people, but needs to work on internal processes
Senior Software Developer (Former Employee) – San Juan, PR – May 29, 2015
As a developer, I acquired invaluable skills working on a vast amount of areas from web to backend, databases, both Windows and Unix systems, you name it..
Supervisors and managers are awesome, and the teams work great. I got to work with lots of different people and they were all great at what they did, and were willing to help out as much as they could.
Unfortunately, as much as you may want to help out, company policies seem to make it harder for you to perform the tasks assigned to you. Redundant and excessive internal business processes are the Achilles heel of this otherwise great place.
Additionally, having developers take on-call shifts and work after-hours (including all-nighters, weekends and holidays) is definitely not the best aspect of the company. It's not an everyday thing, but it's often enough and it gets on your nerves after a while.
I would definitely recommend it, but it desperately needs to address these issues.
Good place to learn, great benefits
Bureaucratic internal processes!!!
