Evertec was a really good job and I never did anything like that before and I enjoy it so much because it was a enviroment in which one of the requirements it was to be a quick learner because we have to know how to operate a atm machine and the software of that machine and that was really interesting because it was a new thing for me and I am the kind of person that I love to learn and try new things and because of that I love that job too.

POS Help Desk Operator (Former Employee), CupeyMay 17, 2013
Pros: payday
Cons: late training material
My job began at 10:00 am, advising customers by telephone regarding doubts and problems with their Evertec equipment, credit balances, and Ivu Loto. I learned to use Evertec equipment, and how to handle decisions. The management requires evaluation. My co-workers need team working skills. The hardest part of the job was dealing with last time decisions. The most enjoyable part of the job was learning a new challenge.

Good for gaining experience, bad to make it a living
Software Testing Coordinator (Current Employee), Cupey, PRDecember 14, 2012
Pros: good pay for a starting possition, learn new technologies and processes
Cons: too much gossip environment, lack and bad communication between teams, exploits exempt employees by having them work weeks without sleeping, no extra bonuses or compensations
Started with no training bringing my own computer. A normal day would be as follows: Go to my cubicle, read emails, await for orders. Idle time ranges from hours to weeks. Have to self educate in tools to automate tests. I learned how to use some high end tools for the testing field. My supervisor was a pro worker and various times he put himself to take the bullet for us even if he had the reasons not to do it. My co-workers were able to work as a team with me to get the things done before the time limit. Hardest part of the job will be the idle times even when there were a lot of work to do. This happened when the environments were not equal to production, programming didn't delivered the proper software or documentation, some trouble with the machines. I enjoyed the time spent with co-workers trying to solve problems, having the satisfaction of successfully make a full certification before the time limit and being productive.
