Assistant Director, New York, NY - August 1, 2014
A typical day at work begins with going through all the administrative emails and memos and answering all questions to parents, teachers, and staff about the previous day's work and the work day ahead. A short meeting with the director about the tasks ahead proceeds, and afterward I work on drafting letters to funding organizations, posting promotional content on social media sites, and draft articles for various parenting newspapers and magazines discussing the programs and classes offered at the school. The hardest part of the job is managing several different tasks simultaneously. The most enjoyable part of the job is working with the staff, whom are very warm and kind and always looking to work together to make things more successful and efficient.
