Pros: bonus, free lunches at times, coffee- very good benefits

This job was a very busy job starting at 8am leaving at 6pm.
- Checking email, phone messages, making sure my manager was covered at all times.
-Management was good
-Co-workers I enjoyed all my co-workers/peers
-The job wasn't very hard, I so enjoyed it

good wookplace
Energy Technician (Current Employee), delchester – March 15, 2013
Pros: plenty of overtime to work
Cons: not much room for advancement
A normal day is responding to gas odorers electric all out and part outs . you can always learn sometthing new with the amount of different jobs that you walk into.Management and co-workers are very willing to help out when needed . the hardest part of the job for me would be staying busy all day

Pros: it's a good pay check

It would be a great place to work for a person that is signal and don't have kids. There is plenty of over time and the pay is pretty good.

Work all day play never
Operations (Current Employee), Illinois – December 27, 2012
Pros: $$$$$
Cons: life outside work
Got a degree or not bright white then this is place for you..Too much BS with this place.....Looking anxiously for employment elsewhere (not Exelon). Like every other power plant will pay if you work (or live) there. If you are young and want a family STAY AWAY. Navy mentality minus SEA.

Productive family base company
Non-Licensed Operator (Equipment Operator) (Current Employee), Delta, PA – November 2, 2012
Cons: long shift work hours
Hours are long, normally 12hrs day/nights. Working rotating shift work on a 5 week rotation. School room training is required and soon will be doing oral boards. A poor mixture of management form the field verses straight out of college. Co-workers become second family since working close to the same group of people for long periods of time.
The hardest – more... part of the job is the hours put in driving to and back from work. Peach Bottom is in the middle of Amish Country. – less

Corporate ladder contains way too many puffed up phonies
Control Room Operator at Conowingo Dam (Former Employee), Conowingo, MD – October 15, 2012
Pros: good wages
Cons: supervision with no job experience, way too many supervisors and vp's
The corporate model is a diaster waiting to happen. They put supervisors in place that have no actual knowledge or experience in the areas they supervise. The actual WORKERS that have the knowledge are leaving for better environments. They care more about there percieved image than they do about there employees. They preach about diversity but white – more... is not a color in that rainbow. – less
