I loved working for Express. The employees were nice and enjoyable to be around. The teaching assignments they placed me on were awesome and life changing. I loved being able to work with kids and be a postive influence for them and the schedule was flexible to my changing life.

never got to a permanent position. Very friendly people to work for just not enough stability.

I was with Express in Rochester MN for 7 years and when I attempted to seek out a job outside of express for a solid career, they refused to give me a letter of recommendation, despite having rave reviews with previous jobs worked for them. I was disgusted at the many attempts I made trying to get an answer, yet they ignored me. I don't know what to – more... say other than, maybe manpower would be better. I am certain all express offices are not this way, but its something to ask about before accepting work with them. – less

Provided invertory control, warehouse mantiance, pulled order for production.I learn that the work connected to this company everyone works together for it become a smooth operation, so teamwork is a must.

This was a good transitional employer. Very nice people to work with.

Staff didnt give full necessary work information. Accuses employees of being dishonest when employees ask for additional information. Head Office tried to make me pay back unemployment because E. Lansing office didnt document times when I came in looking for employment..

A typical day at work with my co workers was mostly fun times.
I've learned to be patient more during busy times.

the hardest part of my job is cleaning toilets, but I smile and volunteer when no one else would..

Great Staff, hours and pay. Wish there would have been a better work life balance that allowed me time for Dr. appointments, etc.

Worked from home. Great attention to detail to insure my clients had an excellent work product.

I was just a part time worker. Some of duties were Multiple phone lines, Filing, Loan paperwork,Collection calls,bank Deposits, and Assisting customers. Everybody is a team player at this place.

Express is a great company to work for, but sometimes it seems as if you don't get the assignments that match your experience.

Everyday was a learning experience. I learned about making tires, putting up sheetrock,. the management was there for you. Worked with a lot of great people. the hardest part was trying to get fulltime employment with the companies that you worked for. the most enjoyabl part was getting a check.

Good pay, no benefits and allows to be hired on without any issues

This was a franchise and they closed the office without notice.

I met with the company head of this temporary service and did all the paperwork, I was assured that they were looking for a job that was a good fit for me. I wasn't called for a few weeks. I was called one winter night, after dark, to go to a job the next day. It was going to snow that night. I was given directions that were vague, so I had a hard time – more... finding this place on the snowy morning that I was to be there at 8am. I found it, though, and the people at the company where I was sent to were very nice, and I worked all day. It was a one day thing. I was called again a few weeks later to a job, that was supposed to be a couple of months. It was also, a next day job, no time to look for it during the day. Of course, they gave me the wrong address to the place, but, I found it on time. I worked there one day, and was told they had no more work. Express never called back after that. That was a couple of months ago. I did nothing wrong. I called them a few times. Of course, there wasn't anything available. I have a good resume and I was working for much lower pay, than I had previously. Neither one of the jobs they sent me to were a "good fit". I am a legal secretary with updated software skills, who became displaced when someone in my family got sick, and the bad economy did not offer an alternative. Somehow, I just got kicked aside and am having a hard time getting back up. They pay about the lowest I've seen for the kind of work they place you in. I made more than that in the 90's, working for temp agencies. I don't know how they can be so cold about their business practices, but, I don't think much of this company. I would never recommend them to anyone. They take advantage of desperate people, and they are cold about it. – less

its a temp company what more can you say they place you in a position and you work just gotta find the position that fits you

A typical day at work consisted of picking ites that need to be shipped and packing them up to be sent. Standing on your feet basically the whole work day. I learned the basics of inventory, shipping and receiving, and basic warehouse work. My co-workers were always pretty exciting to be around. The job was pretty easy and didn't have anything too hard – more... that I couldn't handle. – less

I learned that I need to make a case for myself since this was just a company that placed me where they thought I would fit.
