worker (Current Employee), tempe arizonaAugust 30, 2015
Pros: the money is great
Cons: can not be yourself and very childish company on how they run things
my review of this company is not a good one but worth letting those out there know what goes on here. this company could be a fun place to work if not for the bad management and how they run things in this company. first of all here are the things you can get in trouble for. saying crop duster will land you a written warning also not allowed to say god, bless you, amen, or even talk to a co worker without getting into real trouble. it,s like going back to kinder garden because people here like to say your offending them just to get you into trouble. the company makes very bad choices when coming up with new ideas for the warehouse. the benefits are not even worth your time because they are really bad. when on break you can not be yourself without getting into even more trouble for just talking. if you think you can take all this on a job then this job is for you lol i know all this because i work there for temp Arizona and its the same where ever you go in the company or warehouse,s

Not the worst
Senior Patient Care Advocate (Current Employee), OHIOAugust 29, 2015
Pros: Ability to borrow from your 401K, lots of internal advancement, good pay
Cons: Time Vs. Life expectations, a culture of favoritism.
I would say not say this is the absolute worst place to work, but it still needs a lot of improvement in several areas including rampant favoritism among supervisor and managers.

DON'T WORK HERE
Pharmacy Technician (Current Employee), TempeAugust 28, 2015
Pros: benefits package, quick accrual of PTO
Cons: Management
This company is rated the worse in the country for a reason, treating employees like dirt and looking for any excuse to fire you. Patients are treated as a means to an end....the higher ups pocket books. Despite all the money they make they don't even give a raise or decent bonus to faithful employees. HR is a mess. You are easily replacable

Senior Patient Account Representative (Current Employee), St. Louis, MOAugust 27, 2015
The job itself is not bad, however the work environment created my management makes it a challenge to be more productive. They do not develop employees, they show favoritism, they lack professionalism and are basically not got leaders. They are not trustworthy or honest.

Continually evolving environment that moves quickly. Challenging and fast paced. At times, not enough time to plan because fires need to be extinguished on a continual basis. Must be able to troubleshoot and adapt to a myriad of issues and quickly find solutions.

Pros: the benefits are great
Cons: under appreciated, unprofessional staff, over worked, not enough pay

Administrative Assistant II (Former Employee), BloomingtonAugust 21, 2015
Pros: Generous vacation
Cons: Work you like a slave and then lay you off
A very high stress environment. People working day and night. They work you like a slave but not much appreciation. They have a compensation system that only gives raises to a few people. After the merger they kept saying they would only lay off the contract staff but constantly have lay off after lay off.

Pharmacoinformatics Team Manager (Former Employee), Tempe, AZAugust 19, 2015
Pros: Flexibility and some ability to work from home.
Cons: Expense of healthcare, leadership
Express-Scripts has a broad range of opportunities. The options to move laterally or be promoted are there. Express-Scripts have a large layer of management. I found that one of the saddest things is that the leaders don't lead by example and it was all about the numbers. The expectations are a bit unrealistic. Work-Life balance was more or less non-existent.

I learned a lot and my team was fantastic.

Patient Care Advocate (Current Employee), Orlando, FLAugust 17, 2015
Pros: Pay, schedule
Working at Express Scripts is a great experience. Good pay, plus possible bonus, excellent health benefits, 401k, etc. Schedules are good. If you are great at what you do there is plenty of room to excel. The hardest thing about my job is having the patience to handle the patients that will call in about their medication. The most enjoyable part of my job was being able to help people, going above and beyond for the patients that we care for.
