Machine Operator (Former Employee), Greenville, SC – December 3, 2014
Pros: friendly people
Cons: inadequate compensation
At this job I worked very hard and really enjoyed working with many of the people there, but even after six months of devoted loyal service to this company, not one time was there ever mentioned anything about a raise. I was also hoping to get hired on with this company, instead of continuing on with the staffing service. I mentioned it to them on several – more... occasions, but was never given a definite answer. – less
Clerical Work (Former Employee), Gastonia, NC – November 25, 2014
THE COMPANY DOES NOT TAKE CARE OF THEIR EMPLOYEES. THEY DO A LOT OF SHADY THINGS IN THE OFFICE IN GASTONIA NC AND TELL POTENTIAL JOB SEEKERS THEY HAVE WORK FOR THEM WHEN THEY DON'T. THEY GET PEOPLE'S HOPES UP BUT DON'T FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THEM!!!!! I CAN GO ON AND ON ABOUT HOW TERRIBLE THIS COMPANY IS!!!!!!!!!
Assembler/Manufacturer (Former Employee), Melbourne, FL – November 14, 2014
Usually this company is fair about the assignments they set up for the workers. There are a few small things that could be better such as communication and how knowledgeable they are about how long assignment will last.
Mail Sorter (Former Employee), West Jordan, UT – October 30, 2014
Cons: the pay
I had alot of problems with Express with trying to keep work and alot of the work they gave me was very hard manual labor with absolutely the bare minum pay and I had to leave them for lack of work and not being able to meet financial expenses. The office workers there are very rude and are not up to helping you to find what you need for work or preferance – more... they just send you to the first thing that comes up. And the jobs that they send you on never are a temp to hire although they express that it is, it never really happens, and a lot of time the employor will cut you before you have enough hours in to get hired. – less
Assembly Worker (Current Employee), Tucson, AZ – July 10, 2014
Pros: they really help you try to find work that best suits your ablities.
Cons: staffing agencies sometimes dont have work all the time.
A typical day at work includes showing up on time at 6 a.m stocking the materials needed such as card board boxes, chambers and masks which are placed in boxes that we assemble with mechanical machines then packaging those smaller boxes into the cardboard boxes and ship them. All during this shift which is 12 hours we have to keep replenishing our inventory. – more... Working here I learned that being fast and efficient well making little to no mistakes is critical. Management and co-workers are great they all get along keep there head down and continue to work making sure the factory runs smooth. Hardest part of the job is that your standing and working hard for almost 11 hours a day gets even tougher when working back to back days. The most enjoyable part is working with great people. – less
