Productive and great place to work.
Training Center Coordinator (Former Employee), Houston, TX –
Pros: good fringe benefits
Cons: not enough parking.
Exterran had average compensation and benefits package. The culture and values were good. The advancement was average as well and this could have been because of the economy. I enjoyed my position their and would return

not a good place to work - would not recommend it to anyone
Sales (Former Employee), Midland –
Cons: too many to mention
the company is out for themselves. Does not do anything for employees. Turn over is very high because people do not like working there. Very tense environment.

Still struggling from merger of Universal and Hanover
Director of Special Projects (Former Employee), Houston, TX, Singapore –
Pros: thical and honest management.
Cons: lots of ups and downs in employment.
Exterran has lost numerous good people since their creation via merger in 2007. The trend has slowed but is still going on. Recruitment seems excessively focused on MBA types short on industry experience. Pay scales discourage top talent from working at Exterran.

Great people to work for/with. Everyone cared about people.
Fioles Clerk (Former Employee), Midland, TX –
Pros: cooperation among employees and management
I was only a temporary employee, but I was always treated with respect, and welcomed as part of the Exterran family from day one. No one in the offices was too busy to have a moment for me or any one who might need to see them. My supervisor said he wished my position could have been permanent instead of temporary, but there simply wasn't enough workload – more...  in that position to last all year long. – less
