Environment that promotes creativity & productivity!
Creative (Current Employee), San FranciscoMay 3, 2013
Pros: schedule flexibility, small team of really smart people
It's always fun to be around peers who are the experts in their fields. Its mix of an easy-going attitude in our daily work and working hard to beat deadlines for fun projects. The flexibility of our work schedule must be emphasized, important for us with families and other non-work obligations. As long as you log in your daily duties, you're golden.

Also, – more... the office location in the middle of San Francisco also can't be beat, which usually leads to pick-up games of disc golf & random happy hour outings! – less

Great team environment, fun office
Technical Lead (Current Employee), San Francisco, CAMay 2, 2013
Pros: flexible work schedule, great co-workers
Although there is a serious side to the projects we've worked on at Exygy (with various non-profit organizations, small business and startups), you wouldn't really know it from the laid-back vibe of the office. It's a great, tight-knit team of hard-working individuals, and the managers don't hesitate to schedule happy hours and team building events – more... (frisbee golf, woohoo!) which have become great bonding experiences. Speaking from the technical side of things, there is a lot of room for growth, and flexibility of project types (Rails, Django, Node, iOS, Android, etc) so it's easy to either find your niche or take part in a project where you're mastering a whole new skillset. You're also encouraged to take part in networking events or enroll in classes if they're relevant to you. – less

Good People, Good Work
Project Manager (Current Employee), San Francisco, CAApril 25, 2013
Pros: interesting work + good people. benefits (401k, healthcare, vision, dental). flexible vacation. good managers
I like working at Exygy because:

- I like the other people here
- I like the work we do
- I like the office and location

We do interesting and impactful work. We work hard when we're here but the hours aren't insane like some software companies.

The benefits are good and the salaries are competitive.

Productive and Fun Workplace
Manager (Current Employee), San Francisco, CAApril 25, 2013
Pros: flexibility, easy going atmosphere, supportive culture
Most of us start our day between 10 am and 11 a.m. We are given projects to work on and trusted by our supervisor to complete whatever we are given. My co-workers are always willing to lend a hand and are thoughtful with each other. We have unlimited PTO which means I never have to worry when I am sick or when I take vacations. The flexibility is incredible, – more... Ive been able to travel to visit family every few months and still work remotely. We do tons of teams events and also volunteer. Our CEO likes to keep employees around and works with us to define a new role if the current one is no longer a fit. We all work hard but not crazy hours. I like that we can propose ideas and things get done and implemented right away. We get year end bonuses which I think is fantastic for a small company and everyone always gets a raise. We are a small office so we don't have ping pong tables etc. We do have an employee hang out room though. There is always beer in the fridge. – less
