Pros: flexible work schedule, great co-workers
Although there is a serious side to the projects we've worked on at Exygy (with various non-profit organizations, small business and startups), you wouldn't really know it from the laid-back vibe of the office. It's a great, tight-knit team of hard-working individuals, and the managers don't hesitate to schedule happy hours and team building events (frisbee golf, woohoo!) which have become great bonding experiences. Speaking from the technical side of things, there is a lot of room for growth, and flexibility of project types (Rails, Django, Node, iOS, Android, etc) so it's easy to either find your niche or take part in a project where you're mastering a whole new skillset. You're also encouraged to take part in networking events or enroll in classes if they're relevant to you.
