I loved the job and the people overall. I like working with the children and feeling like I made a difference. You work with the kids on a daily basis and help them achieve everyday life activities. A lot of the kids are behavioral along with high functioning mental health issues. We no longer do physical restraints and you are trained to protect yourself if an emergency does occur. Overall a decent place to work with great supervisors. The benefits are also great too with paid time off health insurance and a free hundred thousand dollar life insurance policy as long as your employed. The staff is mostly decent to work with and most are really good with backing you up if it comes down to an emergency situation. The supervisors also work hard to maintain a positive work environment and to hear out an issues the staff have.
