I live in NYC and want to become a secretary for the FBI. Please help me.....
- Are they always hiring new secretaries?
- About how many secretaries work in the FBI building?
- Will they only hire people internally (please be honest)?
- I graduated from a university in California with a BA in psychology. Good enough?
- I have no experience as a secretary. However, when I was in high school, I was a volunteer for a congressman's office. Is that not good enough?
- Should I attend a secretarial school for the government?
- What suggestions/advice do you have for me to gain major advantage over other applicants?
I have no criminal background. I'm in my mid-twenties, female...Any tips and advice would be much appreciated. Thank you! Please help me.

Every business has its own style. What is the office environment and culture like at FBI?
Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers?

CNN is working on a story about people who are applying for jobs with the FBI after seeing the early January announcement that the bureau has over 2,100 jobs of various types.
