This position is for a senior level project manager who manages the technical projects involved in developing, manufacturing, testing/validation and installation of custom equipment for wet processing. The responsibilities include managing engineering personnel to define customer requirements and translate those requirements into design specifications. The project manager will lead the project team thru defining the work breakdown structure, developing a project schedule and critical milestone charts, defining and acquiring resources, execution of the project, providing status regarding cost, technical and schedule goals. Must be able to implement controls to manage scope, cost and schedule aspects of every project.
Please be advised this is for a temporary contract position with an approximate duration of 9 months to one year.
PMP certification or equivalent
Some experience with off-shoring preferred
Some experience in Lean or Agile Project Management
Must be able to demonstrate successful project execution during the past 5 years

Competent PC computer skills
Speak, write and fluent English

Basic Planning (including scope definition) – what does the project include (and not include)
Defining the project team (acquiring the necessary resources)
Creating a WBS (define the detailed tasks and activity that make up the project) – this is a team activity facilitated by the project manager.
Identify Risks and a Risk Management Plan
Develop a schedule which is realistic in using to manage the project.
Responsible for budget (including labor hours and dollars). Be an advocate of cost reduction.
Hold regular progress meetings
Track project action items and parking lot (items identified but not actionable)
Execute the project plan/schedule
Manage the progress (present status, raise critical issues, develop corrective action plans)
Manage scope (prevent scope creep and provide a method of controlling/authorizing changes)
Establish criteria for successful completion (i.e., FAT, reliability tests, etc.)
Become the single focal point for integrating all components of a project (doesn’t have to be the technical expert but is the expert for the project).
