Assist in operations and supports the functions of the School.

Performs general facility maintenance through installation, maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, physical structures, electrical systems.

Essential Functions
Work evenings from 3:00 pm to 11:30pm Monday-Friday.

Completes work orders as assigned to repair areas of the campus and perform regular PM maintenance on equipment.

Conducts equipment maintenance, testing, lubricating and cleaning machinery and reporting any equipment malfunctions, repairs or replaces defective items and maintains operational logs.

Assists in maintaining the appearance of the main buildings, out-buildings and grounds, including snow removal and salting.

Assists night cleaning crew with needs that might arise, notifies Manager of any problems

Sets up and operates machine tools such as grinder, drill, fabrication equipment, fixtures and tools.

Follows all safety procedures and reports all hazardous conditions, defective equipment and accidents or incidents to the supervisor immediately.

Knowledge, Skills, Ability
Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification/Licensure: Class E driver’s license required.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

Other Required Characteristics
Must possess knowledge of maintenance operations, hand and power tools and mechanical ability. Has ability to be self motivated

Reports to: Facilities Manager
Supervises: No supervisory responsibilities.
