FUN.com & its subsidiaries (_HalloweenCostumes.com, T-Shirts.com_) is looking for an innovative, yet proven Director of Marketing to navigate the marketing team through the digital & social landscape. We're fun. We're quirky. We love what we do. And we're successful.

*Oh- And some pretty rad things happen on the regular, such as: NERF wars, costume parties, Spiderman Santa & camels walking around the office.

Key Responsibilities:

· Work with Marketing Managers in each vertical to ensure projects are completed &
deadlines are met
· Ensure ongoing accuracy of Marketing Expense report, with monthly reporting
· Identify gaps in market reach & suggest strategies to increase market share
· Work with Managers to identify and resolve individual employee issues, workloads and core
focuses
· Stay current on market trends, relationship opportunities, potential big partners
· Develop Marketing initiatives, customer retention programs that increase brand awareness
· Find new outlets and/or gaps in our brand presence (shows, events, sponsorship
opportunities)

Firsthand experience with at least 3 of the following:

· SEO
· PPC
· Social Media Strategy
· Content Strategy
· Email Marketing
· User Experience
· A/B Testing – Conversion Optimization
· Affiliate Marketing
· Customer Retention Programs
· Analytics / Reporting
· Being Awesome

Desired Skills & Experience:

· 4-6 years of digital marketing experience with a successful background of leading and \
executing
· 1-2 years of experience managing a team of marketing professionals.
· Demonstrated ability to navigate complex, regularly awkward and ambiguous situations
· Proven record of innovative marketing ideas that actually happened

Experience with modern marketing tools and technology such as:

o Moz, Google Product Experience/Certifications (Adwords, Webmaster Tools, Analytics)
o MajesticSEO, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Conductor, BuzzStream, Rio, Marin
· Unbelievable, borderline irrational organizational skills
· Exposure to International marketing initiatives
· Excellent analytical and quantitative reasoning skills. . approaching the ability to predict the
future
· Ability to communicate and present effectively to all audiences – can captivate a janitor &
impress our CEO in a single presentation
· Borderline OCD about details & inaccuracies
· Proven track record of applying customer insights/feedback into tangibleresults or
implementation of a digital solution
· Can build roadmaps and marketing strategies backed by data (because you know; we really
< 3 DATA)

Education:

· Be Smart – really smart
· B.A. or B.S. in Marketing, Business, Computer Science or technology-relatedfield; MBA a plus

Cool Factor & Bonus Points:

· History of success by providing examples in: SEO, social networking, media, campaign
management & bidding
· Experience in developing strategies for increasing ROI, conversion rates,CTRs, Email Open rates
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically MicrosoftExcel
· Web Analytics Ninja
· Not a ball-hog, but not afraid to shoot =Team player (Think Dirk Nowitzki) with a leadership
mentality
· Experience collaborating cross-functionally and able to run a central creative services function
· Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects with tight deadlines
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Salary: DOE, Competitive

Location: Position is currently located in Mankato, MN. There is possibility of a partial remote setup for the right candidate in the Twin Cities metro.
