FabOverFifty.com is seeking a passionate, creative, and thoughtful graphic designer to join our team.
The ideal candidate is versatile--can seamlessly move from one project to something completely different. They would be responsible for a broad range of projects including e-mails, landing pages, banner ads, social media promotions, blog posts and occasional print collateral. The ability to work quickly and turn around designs on tight deadlines is crucial. You must be detail-oriented and care about every pixel, yet be able to contribute big picture ideas that will delight our readers and dazzle advertisers. The ideal candidate will possess positive energy, enthusiasm and will never utter the phrase “that’s not my job.”
1-2 years real world experience designing for the web.
Fluency in HTML, CSS, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and e-mail marketing.
A good eye for design and presentation.
Strong project management skills
Sourcing images for use in editorial stories.
Styling editorial content using light HTML and CSS in Wordpress.
Creating newsletters and dedicated e-mails.
Designing PowerPoint presentations and PDF proposals for potential sponsors.
Slicing and coding newsletters and emails.
