Productive, effective and reliable
Human Resources Generalist (Former Employee) – Vienna, VA – October 10, 2016
A typical work for me starts one hour before my schedule shift is to begin. I am an early bird and love to get the day started by finishing any pending tasks and organize my day as time effective as possible, before the phone starts ringing, answer all emails, forward applications good for positions open to Operation for final review/consideration/s requested, complete payroll tasks, update my manager with all pressing employee issues or investigations pending, answer all Unemployment requests, provide updated employee rosters, schedule to contact potential applicants for medical screening and drug tests. Check my schedules pending for unemployment hearings to attend or phone fact findings. Schedule phone calls to be made, in relation to employee relation investigation/fact finding, after all parties have been contacted and written statements received, all has to be forwarded to HR Manager and director for final evaluation and final evaluation. Verify my schedules for upcoming open houses/or new hire orientation. Verify all exit interviews scheduled and process separation in the system, including benefits, etc.
My day in HR is busy, fast paced but never boring, have phenomenal leaders and co-workers.
I can organize my day as I see fit and I have a flexible schedule
Long commute to work.
