This position requires patience. Lots of down-time, but when a guest arrives, you must make it work. I consistently held the highest sales numbers because I know the product and know how to relate to people. Although, commissioned months were few and far between, I was the salesperson to make my mark the most.
When there was an issue with a warranty claim or comfort exchange, I quickly and efficiently made sure the guest was happy. Many of the sales here came from return shoppers because of the helpful and honest framework here. I am not here to sell you the most expensive item, I just want to make sure the customer gets the mattress that is right for them.
I also assisted the bookkeeper with matching invoices for payment. If she was unable to do payroll for the week, I was able to help out in that department.
