Front - End Manager (Former Employee) – Brooklyn, NY – September 13, 2017
Working in Fairway Market was a place where I started I was there for 6 years so I was using it as a stepping stone so it helped me but overall it's a good place to start working just to you can get the hang of working and to be independent but the pay could be better and some things need to change but it's a good place to start if it's going to be your first job.

I like working there. its a great environment for anyone who is looking to learn the basics of being in a supermarket. the workplace is good, some days its slow nd some days are busy but we make the best out of the situations. I have a great team who gets everything done. The hardest part of the job is cutting hours bc my team works so hard to be there. I enjoy being a team leader and being able to see what my team can do.

I am a team player and always looking forward to move up and learn more from the company. This is a family oriented company , but they do not really give the employee the opportunity to grow within the company .

Cashier (Former Employee) – New York, NY – July 18, 2017
cashiers at fairway market are like peasants. they are at the bottom of the food chain. pay was not worth the job the people you work next to some are good people and do their jobs and others are not so good at anything. management did their jobs very well and the work place culture is like no other market they have great quality food but it is expensive to eat from there. the hardest part about the job was no job growth and the most enjoyable part was meeting new people.
Competitive job games that give you chances to when money to shop at the store
Customer Service Associate (Former Employee) – Brooklyn, NY – July 12, 2017
A typical day of work for me is helping customers with any issues they have as far as with refunds and cashiers era. I learned how to multi task with more then 5 taskes at a time with keeping my area tidy. Working with different cultures was a good experience to learn different food products and the use of it. The hardest part of the job was shrinking items at the end of the month. The most enjoyable part was being able to satisfy customers.
