This is the worse nursing home in Florence. I have been a nurse for 15 years and was a CNA for 5 years before that. This is the worse place I have ever worked. No one wants to work there so they are always short staffed. Most of the CNA's and Nurses do their best but there is just so much a person can do. When CNA's have 15 + residents on day shift they can do nothing except cut corners.
Upper management is terrible and do not care about anything except making a profit. There is never enough supplies. I was personally sent to the grocery store to get Carnation Instant Breakfast to use as tube feeding formula. I have personally seen residents given a bowl of lettuce with no dressing or anything and it being called a salad. One Sunday the administrator had to go to Sam's Club and get groceries because they did not even have anything to cook. There is to much placed on the nurses but management does not care. They do not have a problem forcing nurses to work 24 hour shifts because of the staffing shortage. One time I had ants in my office, they were to cheap to even buy bug spray or call someone. Their idea was to mix bleach and water and spray it.
