Highlight of my job
Certified Medical Assistant (Former Employee), Little Egg Harbor, NJNovember 9, 2013
Pros: exellent co worker, lunches, opprotunity
Cons: your word on an issue ( patient vs ma)
The job was a very interesting place to work, my co-workers were nice and polite. I learned a lot from checking in patients, obtaining vitals, height, weight, & vision to performing EKG's and doing ear litigations. There was no hard part of the job, because when you had a question, someone was there to answer. The best part of the job was having the – more... patient's come out the room and say thank you for your kind services – less

Multifaceted Family Clinic/Resident Teaching Facility
Office Manager (Former Employee), Portland, MEAugust 10, 2012
Pros: challenging and rewarding work
Cons: working 80 hours a week
The hardest part of the job was managing staff in a corporate level environment. A typical day at work started with making sure all the Patient Service Reps were prepared and trained to take 100+ calls in the call center. Acted as resource and provided back up for complaints and concerns. Very busy practice, multi-tasking was essential and enjoyed the – more... ability to remain calm regardless of numerous interruptions and requests.
The most enjoyable part of the job was having a variety of assignments to work on during the day. Each day brought its challenges and accomplishments.
As a member of management, I did not have any colleagues. – less

Lead Medical Assistant (Former Employee), Plano, TXJune 16, 2012
exciting at first but easily "burned out", "over worked", no room for advancement, lots of micro managing from the physicians so why the need for an office manager who cannot do their job??, no benefits if you want to make what you are actually worth and if you have a life threatening situation they cannot guarantee your position...i enjoyed the patients – more... and my co workers – less
