RN Case Manager (Former Employee) –  Orlando, FLAugust 21, 2017
As a case manager at this company , I was responsible for over 2000 patients, it was my duty to keep them out of the hospital. I worked in Pine Hills. the socioeconomic culture was that of lower education and therefore lack of knowledge on how to handle their comorbidities.

Medical staff was great, management was lacking.
Receptionist/Office Assistant (Former Employee) –  Winter Park, FLSeptember 26, 2016
I loved working with the doctors and patients of the office. I found the management to be sorely lacking as the office manager spent most of her time doing social activities, solo and with other staff members. Eventually she was replaced, but the replacement was a woman who had no managerial experience or training.
Pros
Social interaction with physicians and patients.
Cons
Poor management.

Ok to work in some locations
Rma (Current Employee) –  Orlando, FLMarch 10, 2016
Not all locations are created equal. Needs more employee graditute and acknowledgement. Too much pressure and stress on medical assistants. Employees need a Voice to stick up for them, they're mostly afraid.
Pros
Free lunches
Cons
Aggressive behavior- doctors

Care Manager Member (Former Employee) –  Orlando, FLMay 25, 2015
A typical day at work would include:
Reviewing of medical census and patient's chart to identify possible new Dx during the hospital stay.
Daily physician scheduled for prospective review to identify possible new Diagnosis reported by X rays, Labs or specialist.
Depending on the period i had to work on specific reports and make sure the conditions had been getting documented and billed by providers with necessary support.
Educate physicians on MRA codes and identification of miss opportunities.
Communicate on a daily basis with office manager to ensure appointments for these patients with new reported diagnosis identified by X rays or Labs or specialist notes to meet with the provider in the office and have a face to face encounter for billing and documentation of these Dx.
I had to communicate daily with the provider to assist in any billing question that they might had.
I had learned a lot working at Family physicians i also had training on Claims review for Wellcare insurance patients.
Management was good for the most part, the communication between departments could had been better to ovoid double work.
My co workers were great people i had made many friends working at family physicians group.
Hardest part of the job: was to meet the deadlines and review the thousands of patients to submit them on time, it was a lot of stress.
I enjoyed most of it.
Pros
Good pay, job stability up until a few years back.
Cons
Lack of encouragement for the employee by the company, no place to growth despite what the company management promotes, A few promotions within the company, they rather hired from the outside, Review were late and sometimes no raise given despite good score.

Very busy place, employees not appreciated, no room for advancement
Registered Medical Assistant (Former Employee) –  Orlando, FLApril 10, 2015
Very busy all day, employees are not appreciated, no room for advancement, no benefits, no vacation or sick days until after a year, had to work holidays including day after thanksgiving, Christmas eve, new year day, manager was a gossiper and liked to throw people under the bus. Had to update a lot of information in the EMR but given not enough time to accomplish it, doctors and nurse practitioners are always behind but always in a rush to get in the rooms. The only good thing about it was the overtime.
Pros
Overtime
Cons
Employees are not appreciated and worked like slaves.
